  Had my MOT done here since they closed the one on east Prescott road. Last year (2016) had both bottom ball joints replaced by this gararge as didn't have the time to do it myself. This year (2017) i got my car in two weeks before it was due and it failed on a track rod end. I informed them i would take it home and change it myself, i was advised by the MOT inspector to change both I would have anyway. I was ready to carry out the work the next day, I had everything ready to go and guess what I couldn't find the Renault wheel lock nut adaptor kit, it was always in the glove box I was furious. I phoned National Tyres Vauxhall Road and asked if maybe last year they had not put the lock nut kit back in the car. I was told that they didn't have a Renault lock nut kit but they had two Vauxhall kits. I changed both track rod ends with both wheels still attached to my car. I went back to National Tyres Vauxhall road Liverpool the day after to get my MOT. I asked about the locking nut kit again and the lad behind the counter said "are you trying to say we have lost them" keeping my cool because if I didn't I wouldn't get anywhere "I said no its been a year I may have mislaid them myself but this garage was the last to use them" the lad responded " if you bring it in tomorrow we will remove them free of charge". The MOT inspector started to check their tool boxes while this young lad wanted to search my boot, I had already stripped the car looking for them but I humored him. Low and behold doesn't the MOT inspector find them as tho they didn't know they had them. I've been driving around for a whole year with no way of changing my wheels if I needed to. Funny thing is they ask for a contact number every time you pay. If I had gone in there ranting and raving I would never have gotten anywhere, I'll never use these again. Be careful when you do!
